Inner West Alpha is back for 2026.

This year, Christ Church Newport is hosting Alpha over six Wednesday nights. Alpha begins on August 5th, and runs between 7pm to 8:30pm.

Alpha is a series of relaxed, open conversations about life, faith and meaning - exploring what it means to be a Christian. It’s a space where you can ask questions, share your thoughts, or simply listen. You don’t need to believe anything to be there, and you’re welcome to try just one week to see what it’s like.

This year, our topics each week are :

Wednesday 5th August : ‘Is there more to life than this?’

Wednesday 12th August : ‘Who is Jesus?’

Wednesday 19th August : ‘Why did Jesus die?’

Wednesday 26th August : ‘How can I have Faith?’

Wednesday 2nd September : ‘Why and How Do I Pray?’

Wednesday 9th September : ‘Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
